Originally from the Northeast, it seemed appropriate to use snowflakes for January.
I beaded 19 snowflakes using Delica beads and Swarovski crystals. The ornament is beautiful hanging over my dining room table although it did not photograph well so I spread it out on a black velvet board.

Wow - this looks wonderful. From top to bottom, what is the total length?
Thanks,
The total length is 7 inches.
This is gorgeous! It's a beautiful way to think of snow. And how did you keep from getting everything tangled up? You must have a great system.

Wow! A wonderful example of how flexible a "beaded journal" can be. I love the idea of beaded ornaments. You'll be able to get so much joy from them every year!
I came across this blog when I went looking for your OWOH post. How beautiful this is! I even like it all spread out like that -- it has sort of a celestial feel to it. Lovely!
This is breathtaking!! Seeing it in the sunlight or candle light must be amazing!!! I love this piece!!!
Exquisite work!
Best ! Elizabeth
i just love this. how did you decide on the snowflake patterns. did you find them somewhere in a book. I have been making beaded dreamcatchers from a book and love the stars so did my own one but snowflakes are much more exciting.
